Katie - Lead Vocal

Katie is a sensational singer who loves being on stage and performing for an audience.

She puts her heart and soul into every song. With a versatile, strong vocal technique and wide range, Katie performs a huge variety of songs with ease. From rock chick songs to ballads, blues and soulful tunes to jazz numbers. When people hear her sing they can't get enough.

She also brings her own cheeky and energetic style to the stage - keeping the boys in the band in line and dancers on the dance floor. She's a natural on stage as a result of years of fronting covers bands as well as being a high school drama teacher with a degree in performing arts.

Katie has been on stage since she was 10 and took vocal lessons before performing widely in her homeland of England. After migrating to Australia in 2005, Katie performed with an all-girl trio before being snapped up by The Tuners.

She has also worked with several theatre companies both in England and Australia with major roles in Cabaret, Joseph, Cats, Me and My Girl, South Pacific, Irene and Oklahoma!

Katie's large vocal range, energy and passion to perform makes her a dynamic entertainer for any occasion.

Paul Belford - Male Lead Vocal

** PLEASE DESCRIBE THIS IMAGE **Paul first hit the stage at the age of 10 and has been occupying one, on and off, ever since.
Paul's musical tastes range across the spectrum from classical, jazz and swing right through soul, rock and pop. This varied musical background lends him a versatility that makes him comfortable in a wide variety of styles and genres. He can be as smooth as Frank Sinatra or as rocky as Jimmy Barnes.

Through the years, he has performed in bands and as a solo artist in pubs, clubs and private functions both locally and overseas, singing everything from jazz standards to funk and good old rock and roll.
He has even been known to strum the occasional guitar, often one of his own compositions.

With his wide vocal range and his versatile repertoire, Paul brings extra dynamic and energy to the Tuners and makes the band even richer vocally, performing songs as well as duets with the female singer and adding more backing vocals.

Harry Gusman - Guitar and VocalHarry is one of the hottest guitarists in Australia. His versatility, mad guitar licks and and creative playing ensure The Tuners is a very exciting band to listen to and watch.
Harry started learning guitar at the age of 12 and joined his first band at 16. His formal education in music began with classical guitar lessons at age 17 followed by a five-year Bachelor of Music Teaching and Performance degree with Honours from the Indonesian Institute of Art, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. In addition, he took guitar lessons in America with two of Chicago's most respected guitar gurus Jack Cecchini and Peter Learner.

For three consecutive years he was awarded the Best Guitarist in Java - in 1989, 1990 and 1991 - and was then invited to be on the judging panel for subsequent competitions.
Harry has been working in the music industry for the past 16 years, including playing lead guitar with The Indonesian Wind Orchestra, playing in various bands at concerts, pubs, nightclubs and corporate parties in Australia and overseas.
He has also undertaken session work including arranging songs, recording and arranging jingles, making music for games, conducting guitar workshops and teaching guitar and bass through his Sydney-based guitar school Harry's Guitar Studio.

Harry has played various styles of music including Blues, Rock n Roll, Country, Hard Rock, Reggae, Funk, Folk, and more.

Frank Peronace - Bass and Backing Vocal

Frank is one of the most skillful, soulful and grooving bass player you're ever likely to see in the country. His playing will take you on a magical music tour that brings groove to your heart and soul.

Frank started out as the bass player in his school rock band and went on to play in various styles of bands including Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Funk and Blues.

Music is his passion and he has performed with some great acts, both locally and overseas.

Over the years, Frank has sought the advice and tuition of local bass greats, such as Yannis Bardas, Maurice Palumbo, Phil Scorgie, and recently, one of the greatest bass players in the country, Steve Hunter.

His technical brilliance and soulful playing style with its groove and funk feel is part of what gives The Tuners the solid and full sound for which they are renowned.

This, combined with his musicianship and personality on stage, ensures The Tuners are not only great to listen to but entertaining to watch.

Andy Binder - Drums

Andy has been a professional drummer and drum teacher for a decade. His creativity and groove are the hallmarks of his drum playing.

Performing is what it's all about for Andy. When he's on stage he's a happy man and you can't take the smile off his face.

Andy has been part of many projects, productions, recordings and concerts in Europe. He has performed Jazz, Pop, Rock, Latin, Reggae, Ska, Funk, Metal, Country and Fusion.

Andy got into music at the early age of six, taking drum and guitar lessons in his hometown near Munich, in Germany. His talent was recognised by his teachers including Micheal Gaertner from the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra.

He devoted himself to developing skills in music harmony and theory, learning the piano and the bass guitar as well. After years of preparation, he studied jazz and popular music at the Vienna Conservatory.

Jan Grman - Keyboard

Jan is one of those musicians who started making noise as a baby and has never stopped. He started learning classical piano when he was young, but he also loves playing contemporary music and loves to improvise.

He transitioned from playing classical to playing keyboard in bands and traveling around the Czech Republic until he came to Australia.

His great skills, personality and open mindedness in music have made him a very versatile player and he was a perfect fit musically for The Tuners and is an important member of the team.

Jan has been working with songwriters in Sydney as an arranger and keyboard player.
