Janet Nowosad - Sydney Pianist

Music has been a big part of Jessica’s life since a very young age as she grew up listening to her mother teach piano, often falling asleep with a book on her head, music blaring.

She has had six years vocal training and has been singing professionally as a soloist for the last eight years. She has also had extensive choral and Musical Theatre experience, performing in a variety of shows over a seven year period.

She has completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts, majoring in Music Business and her final composition piece which she wrote with her sister, was selected for inclusion in ‘DCMS 2009’ compilation CD.

Jessica’s passion is jazz, however she loves singing the classics and contemporary pop/rock songs to get the crowd bopping!

Janet - Piano

Janet attended the Sydney Conservatorium of Music where she studied for 10 years. She holds a number of qualifications in music including a Bachelor of Music (BMus), an Associate Musician of Australia degree and also has a Diploma of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (DSCM).

Janet has taught in many schools and colleges and has been a rehearsal pianist for many theatre shows and concerts in Sydney throughout her life.

She is currently a professional Accompanist for AMEB examinations and groups, is a piano teacher for final grade piano students (associate and licentiate levels) and performs as a piano Accompanist at many Sydney wedding venues."
